A live 2005 raw collection of live tracks recorded during Khanate's last US tour Originally archive was released in a pressing of 500 copies which sold out in something like 6 hours. This pressing is 1000 copies and comes packed in a new layout that is a slightly larger 3 panel cover with vellum printed text strips dropped into a translucent silver static shielding bag. All graphic and design work by a Mr. O'Malley. Audio content is identical to the original release although it has been re-mastered slightly.

For those that don’t know Kousokuya are a cult garage pysch rock trio formed in the 70’s in the Tokyo underground music scene by main member, and recently deceased Jutok Kaneko. Despite having existed for 20+ years the bands output has been fairly sparse with a few releases on PSF and one domestic US release on the Forced Exposure label. Originally the archive release was to be comprised of a fantastic live performance on CD from Osaka in 2001 but having discovered the existence of video footage from the same performance, coupled with the efforts of James a bonus DVD was added to the mix. This release represents to date the only video document of Jutok and Kousokuya released in official capacity and realistically represent a chance for fans of obscure psych to see a band and artist that basically played outside of Japan only a handful of times. This pressing of 700 copies comes packaged in a ½ fold heavy black stock cover with metallic silver and gloss varnish silkscreen work by the wonderful Alan Sherry of SIWA records. The CD and DVD come in black envelopes held together by a silkscreen obi strip.

Fabrizio Modonese Polumbo is the leader of the Italian post rock collective Larsen (Young God Records/Important Records) This 3" cd is limited to only 300 copies and is an introduction to the collaborative works of these two artists. These tracks are otherwise unreleased - This 3" cd is mounted to a brass plate.

as the title would suggest represents footage James filmed of all three members of LSD March (Shinsuke Michishita, Ikuro Takahashi, Masami Kawaguchi) performing solo sets at Philly’s best book store, BigJar, while on a short US tour in the fall of 2006. Shinsuke and Masami’s renderings represent a Japanese working of psychy folk for guitar and vocals. Ikuro offers a contrasted short piece of oscillator assemble that is firmly rooted in the avant-garde, with overtones of conceptualist art, found sound, and experimentalism. The release comes packaged in a ½ fold heavy stock cover with a pressing size of 550 copies design and silkscreen work by Jason Killinger from Birds of Maya

Brainwashed continues its 7-inch single series with an alluring slab of thick clear vinyl featuring two untitled pieces by Mirmir (Edward Ka-Spel and The Silverman aka Phil Knight of The Legendary Pink Dots, Christoph Heemann, Andreas Martin, and Jim O'Rourke). Side one adopts an improvised psychedelic-folk feel as droning ripples segue into metronomic clicking pulses and Indian hand-drum rhythms overlaid by acoustic strums. More atmospheric by comparison, the other side is a haunted drone of peaceful thrums, swooping electronics, and natural field noises (moans and bird sounds). As befits its single status (though hardly characteristic of the drone genre), be aware that, while each piece conceivably could last a half-hour or more, Mirmir keeps them short. Still, get it while you can, especially when the first fifty pre-orders come with a DVD-R containing footage of the first Mirmir show recorded in Antwerp in February 2005. - Ron Schepper, Textura
