DECEH - self titled - LP
imprec258 - LP - $20
Limited edition of 400. Handmade letterpressed covers.
Deceh is a fine drone quartet utilizing traditional ethnic drone instruments. as well as vintage analog synthesizers. This record was recorded on a centered room microphone as the group sat in a perfect square around it. This method of recording perfectly captured the focused intimacy of the moment complete with the crackling bellows of an ancient harmonium. First 100 covers are printed silver on black. 300 covers are gold on black.
Bringing strict discipline, control and patience they're able to achieve densely transcendental focus in their work. Imagine taking three notes from Terry Riley and stretching them out into pulsating 20 minute sublime pieces. An obvious reference point might be the recent Yoshi Wada Earth Drones reissues but somehow even more transcendent. Fine drone. Acoustic & analogue. Deceh.

Finally rescued from the original reels this
is the first time Accordion & Voice has been in

When we sent out the original reels for The
Wanderer to be transferred to digital we were shocked
and excited to have discovered an extended collaboration with David Tudor. It's with a terrific amount of excitement
that we present it here for the first time along with the
albums two original pieces. This is the sister album to Accordion
& Voice. (more) |
